I’ve been looking at some sites offering cruise vacation packages recently, and have been shocked by the low costs involved.  Serious, I didn’t think it was possible for a cruise to be this affordable!  I guess there is some upside to having a down economy like this.  At any rate, I’m carefully considering the options, and I’m thinking we might just settle on a classic carribean style cruise, just because we have never been there before.

I have always enjoy watching Nascar races on TV and have often dreamed of being able to see one in person.  I just accepted a job that is going to require that I travel a lot.  I will be in many different cities across the country.  I am going to keep the Nascar Schedule handy so I can try to arrange some of my travel to coincide with the race schedule.  The Shelby 427 will be held at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway in March and I think I can arrange to be in Vegas around that time.  This may end up being a great year.
