We finally found some podcasts that we both like, so I’ve been burning a bunch of episodes out to CD for the trip. Misty especially likes “Wait, Wait – Don’t Tell Me” so I’ve got several weeks of that show downloaded. Lots of other NPR stuff too.
She’s also indulging me on the Hacker Quarterly shows. Sometimes they can be a little tedious, but I really like Emmanuel’s attitude. He just cracks me up, looking down his nose at everything and everybody.
We’ve also picked out a few of our favorite music CDs to take along, especially for the late night drives.
Now if we can just get clothes packed, we’ll be on our way next week!
