The sounds of my Alexandria Doumbek are among some of the most unique, yet comforting sounds I’ve ever heard from a drum. As a drummer, I find that it’s distinct sound and portability make for one of the best show drums in the world, as I can even walk around on stage during a solo and do a little bit of showmanship while entertaining the audience. What’s great about the tones it produces is that they aren’t so unique that they overpower or draw attention away from the music, yet they are noticeable enough to be appreciated in concert with the rest of the music.
