My wife called when I was on the way home from the office. She told me that she had just been on the phone with the bank, and they said that we were in too much debt to cover the house payment, so they were going to be taking it from us.  I told my wife that they were over exaggerating, but she didn’t believe me.  The truth was that they couldn’t take the house from us, because we didn’t actually own it.  My parents were still the owners, and they were the ones that had not been paying their bills.
