Many people who would like to work out of their own home would be very grateful to enroll in an internship program — alas, such is not usually the case. The reason for this is that most companies want their interns to show up for work at a physical location — part of the process is for them to be able to get to know the intern in a way that is up close and personal. None of that would be possible if the employee is a work at home, so these opportunities will usually remain elusive for those who wish to maintain a home-based business.
