I am really surprised at how cheap the travel insurance Australia I just bought is! I was expecting the premium to be a lot higher, but I got half a dozen quotes and it seemed like every one I got was cheaper than the previous. The quote I finally went with was only a little over $100, which I am more than happy to pay for the peace of mind. I was able to find a policy that excluded a lot of benefits I didn’t even want anyway, I think this was why the price kept going down. Anyway, I now have cover for my holiday, and for a lot less than I expected.
