As a single man who travels a lot there is nothing better that I could recommend to someone else in a similar situation then to own a condo. Generally speaking you do not have a yard, and that part of a yard you may have is maintained by a home owners association. While the price of this association may be pricey (do your homework before you buy), there are definite reasons that it is a good deal. I actually own one condo that I live in and I am thinking about buying something in the Daytona Beach Condos as an investment to rent out because again, the maintenance is minimal.
