Opening my fabric shop was really exciting. I had no idea how hard it would be to get the sourcing and infrastructure done, so I was so glad to be almost ready to open the doors. Most shops cater to quilters and I had decided to meet the needs of apparel seamstresses, which ended up being a huge challenge. I finally had everything place and was ready to click on the neon open signs. I had a few surprises along the way and unexpected glitches, but ultimately, it’s been a really good experience. I have the best customers and I get paid to do what I love all day.
