All of us are after good site traffic, but it doesn’t come easy. Yes, traffic can be paid for, but is the quality of visitors what you really want? Try some other methods, such as placing your link in your signature on forums. When you post (and do not post build just to get your link seen), you will attract some visitors to your site hopefully. Join Squidoo, and create lenses in which you can place a reasonable number of links. Answer questions at ‘Yahoo Answers’ and where a source link box shows add a link to your site. But, do not spam! Only add a link if it is completely relative to your answer.
