The Experience of Buying Lingerie

Wednesday, March 4th, 2009

This year I wanted to step out of the box and do something really special for my wife for St. Valentine’s Day.  She did not need any more chocolate (mine observation,  not hers) and we have never had luck with flowers.   So this year I went so far as to go to a gift consultant for advise.  After a lot of questions and some in depth probing she finally recommend that I buy my wife something of a more personal nature.  She then explained that exotic lingerie might be the thing.  I had never bought anything like that and must admit that it was an experience.

Best Music Blog

Friday, February 27th, 2009

There are a lot of music blogs out there that I read. Some I often find very annoying such as Pitchfork. In my opinion this is the best music blog. I love how the majority of the posts are about interesting tidbits from the history of music. I’m always learning something new. Plus there’s just enough current music news and album reviews to balance things out.

Sure not all of the music trivia is interesting. Sometimes it’s something kind of lame. But a lot of times it’s really something thought provoking such as the recent post about Thomas Edison inventing the record player. It’s really amazing how much stuff Edison invented.

People are fascinated with guitar players.

Thursday, February 26th, 2009

Being a guitar player is truly a gift. I just can not elaborate the feeling of expressing yourself with an instrument. Besides the enter piece I get out of playing I look at the people around me an it is not hard to see the fascination that overwhelms people when they see someone playing . I think a lot of it is seeing someone make so many big sounds from a guitar and being so beautiful. The guitar is a fascinating instrument and for the guy playing, you get a lot of satisfaction seeing the joy on the peoples face that are listening to you.

The secret behind artists easels

Wednesday, February 25th, 2009

Too many artists easels are made of poor quality. Artists easels need to be constructed of high quality canvas and wood fir. Having these components as a foundation for the easel is usually not enough, artists easels need to be strong and have a professional finish as well. Paint can ruin wood easily so that is why it is important to finish it with a sealant and water protectant. A fantastic easel also has little holsters on the side to organize your brushes. Some of the more expensive models also carry paper towel dispensers on the right or left side.

Agreement Is A Good Thing

Sunday, February 8th, 2009

While planning our wedding, my husband and I had trouble agreeing on anything!  I wanted the ceremony in the church.  He wanted the garden.  Five attendants each seemed like the perfect number to me.  He thought three were sufficient.  By the time we got around to selecting a photographer we were so frustrated with one another we were ready to call it all off!  Much to our surprise, we found something we agreed on!  One More Photographer impressed both of us immediately. The photographs they took were all we could have dreamed.  We both adamantly agree we found the best wedding photographer in Minneapolis!  Thanks for giving us at least one thing to agree about!

St. Patrick’s Day

Friday, January 30th, 2009

There are people who prepare months in advance for St. Patrick’s Day. For example, the Irish Tourism Council, among many other companies and entities, places ads all over the Internet. They’re all hoping to capture the attention of the many people who are online searching for free St. Patrick’s Day clip art and other holiday-related items, so they can lure them to see Ireland, the country where the holiday began thousands of years ago. And it works, because even though St. Patrick’s Day is many weeks away, you can already find many St. Patrick’s Day ads. I’m sure more and more people will click on them as the holiday draws nearer.

Learning Spanish is Tough

Thursday, January 29th, 2009

Learning Spanish is no easy feat. It has an intrinsically different structure of grammar compared with English, and it has different sounds as well. It’s system of accents is also confusing to those not familiar with a language that involves using these symbols. Spanish is definitely not something that you can pick up over a weekend or two or even ten.

That is why I personally chose to use rocket spanish when I had to learn Spanish. This excellent software paces everything for you and delivers the right information to you at the right times and at the right speed. I’m not sure how I would have learned Spanish without it. It’s definitely worth the purchase for me and my three sons who have learned Spanish from it.

Piano easier for adults?

Friday, January 9th, 2009

They say that it is easier to teach a child instead of an adult. Partly, yes, but for piano, you can learn it even if you’re already in your 40′s or 50′s as long as you have the determination to learn.  The only difference in teaching adults and children is with the approach. For children, of course it should be full of fun so they won’t be bored and for adults it should be in a structured manner so they can easily learn what is being taught of them. They need a good piano lessons dvd to be able to pay attention.Learning piano is one of the most enjoyable instrument to play. Whatever ur age is, it doesnt matter as long as you have the right attitude to learn it and you have all the resources that you need.
