A few weeks ago, my buddy Kevin told me that he was going to be moving to England within the next month or so.  I am pretty excited for him.  His fiance lives over there, and they are going to be getting married in June. When you step into my room you learn very quickly what the passion of my life is.  Every wall in my room, every square inch, is covered with car pictures.  Japanese cars, Italian cars, American muscle cars, and on and on.  It really doesn’t matter what country has made a car, I have probably analyzed it, taken pictures of it, and categorized into my vast collection of automotive knowledge.  I find a very satisfying and fulfilling to be able to pursue my life’s passion of cars to such an extent.  I hope to one day have successfully taken pictures of every car ever made in the world. 

A lot of my friends have been changing the looks of their cars, and I am thinking that I really like some of the things that they have done. They said it is pretty easy if you buy a body kit, so I am trying to find out how expensive these are. I suppose it would depend on what changes the kit was designed to make though. As a car fanatic, I am always eager to find a bargain motor that I believe is going to be a future classic. I remember when my son first got his driver’s license. He was so eager to drive. I was not looking forward to having to pay for insurance coverage for a male teenager, but I was able to find some cheap teen auto insurance that actually was much more affordable than I could have ever imagined. I found out about from a co-worker who had three teenagers, and who were all of driving age. I am glad I only had to secure insurance coverage for my one child. I don’t know if I could have afforded coverage for three even at the cheap rates.

The problem with a large proportion of sports cars is that they may work rather well on the track, but they prove to be rather erratic on the roads and highways. For example, in my old Honda NSX I had to literally go round corners very quickly to generate enough downforce to stay on the road. If I had cornered at a reasonable speed I probably would have skidded off the road and ended up in a ditch (try explaining that to the police).

The brand new Honda S2000 is thankfully much better and has improved on all the NSX’s misgivings greatly.
