Youth group went great, but Mike and I had not eaten dinner so we jumped in my car and headed out to find food. I also need to get home after dinner , since my wife’s birthday is coming up, I need to research some birthday gift ideas for her. Problem is there are not a lot of options at 9pm and we were indecisive as usual, so we decided to drive until we figured it out. (this is normal in my life) But we passed everything and still had not figured out what sounded good. Then the idea of Applebee’s in Watsonville came up and it was decided. So we got more gas and then got back on hwy 1 South. It was raining off and on, and I don’t like driving at night that much so we were not going very fast. But all of the sudden traffic just stopped. I did not want to run into the cars in front of me so I swerved into the fast lane where there was no one. My car decided this was not a good plan and began to fishtail out of control. Luckily, no car was on the road and we didn’t get into an accident.

What piece of furniture could have more uses than the coffee table? Our coffee table has been used for displaying magazines, putting our feet up while watching TV or reading, as a table to eat from, playing cards and games with the grandchildren, just to mention a few. The eileen gray table will probably never go out of style just for the reasons I mentioned. I have this aunt on my husband’s side who is kinda crazy. Honestly, she gets the weirdest ideas in her head, and then I’m usually called over to sort everything out. I went straight there and calmed her down, assuring the movers that they were not really needed. I still had to pay them for their time though. Grrrrrr.

I remember those hot Florida summer days. I never liked the heat much but fortunately for me we always seemed to have a pool at home. While even back then there were plenty of pool toys available we as kids loved being in the pool so much, just about anything in the pool would qualify as water toys. We have been renting a little space for a couple of years. We bought an investment house last year to rent out, and so far it has gone very well. Before we were able to rent it out, we needed to complete some repairs, and we had to completely remodel the master bathroom.
