Why would you want to use resistance bands rather then free weights? Well I’ve got a few reasons for ya and here we go.

1.) Free weights take up a heck of a lot more room at home, so if you’re designing a home gym using resistance training bands rather then free weights is a much smarter way to go about it

2.) When you perform a given exercise with free weights the majority of the resistance happens when you first start to move the weight. Once you’ve started to move the weight momentum some what takes over for you. When you’re pulling a resistance band as it extends the resistance actually increases so you’re getting a more even workout through out the movement.

3.) The cost of exercise bands is always going to be a fair bit less then buying a set of free weights, and lets face it every penny saved is great.
