Smoking bans at work certainly have worked and have cut smoking at teh workplace – many people simply don’t smoke at work who have stopped completely. Even more impressive is that it concerns that this might force smokers to smoke more at home – exposing families and children to increased second-hand, passive smoke – don’t seem to have been borne out. However there are still considerably numbers of employees who do smoke and take smoking breaks.
