About a week ago, a new nation was announced. One which would be formed in an area of the US known for relaxation and natural beauty. This was the first of several announcements make by representatives of Lakota Freedom. They stated that they would form their own country and cede from the nation. The question remains: is this true? And if so, can they pull it off. It takes a lot to start a new country, especially once surrounded by their parent country the USA. And can this be done peacefully? Remember Feb 27, 1973? We don’t need another Wounded Knee.
