When we decided to start drinking safer water we got both the whole house water filters system, to remove sediment, sand, dirt, rust, and silt, and an under the kitchen sink system to remove any other contaminants the might slip by. Now we drink, cook, and bath is the cleanest water we can manage. I think both of the systems we have are highly effective and very cost effective to maintain.
