About every other year I call up my boys and get them to come over for our semi annual deck staining party. We usually start off with choosing deck stains then move on to sanding the deck. It’s something that we’ve done now for the last 10 years.  I look forward to it, not only because my deck gets stained, but because it creates that special time for my sons and I to bond.  There hasn’t been a lot of time for that to happen over the years, but as long as we keep this tradition going i’ll always have a time to get my words in.  It seems that my sons have learned so much over the years.
