I am not sure how long it would take for a more natural, or “real”, hardwood floor to be installed. What sold me on the hardwood laminate flooring is that it would all be installed within a day. Since we were closing escrow on a Monday and we had to be moved in by the end of the week, I went with the flooring that could be installed in one day. I have been really happy with the laminate stuff and I honestly do not know what major difference there would be with the real hardwood and I would do this again if in a time constraint.
