The factory-built housing industry is growing by leaps and bounds across the United States. With new technologies, innovative designs, quicker build times and savings of 30% or more – home buyers are realizing the advantages of modular, Manufactured Homes and panelized housing compared to traditional stick-built methods.
Considering all of this, we cannot help but see the how factory built housing is having a “green” effect on the building industry and our environment. More recyclable materials are being used and less waste is created. Factory built homes also lend well to other “green” choices such as solar power, wind power, eco-friendly insulation, etc. It’s an environmentally conscious world we live in and this is one industry that is responding to that need.
