I have been thinking about buying an investment property. A friend of mine has a three family house that he is hoping to sell. I have been thinking about buying it. My friend just told me that he will need to get BER certs done on the units before he can sell them though. I had never heard about these requirements before. So, I have been looking into it online. Apparently it is a new thing, but I think that it makes a lot of sense and I am glad that the units that I am thinking about buying will have one done.
