Laing spa pumps are basically made up of two parts the wet end that contains an impeller that moves the water and a dry end that contains an electric motor, which turns the impeller. If you wish to change and replace the pump then you should remove the old piece and examine it well to assure a correct match.  Some Laing spa pump parts have two slice valves or two gates at either side of the pump if you cannot find the value then drain out the spa. Pump wet ends can be slanted in 90º increments.  Undo the Laing spa pump’s four from first to last bolts from the rear of the motor and draw out the bolts enough to unfasten it.  Then spin the wet end to the preferred position, realign and then re-tighten the bolts.
