My son is in the sixth grade this year and has chosen to play the guitar in his music class. He has always wanted to learn and it looks like this is the time he will start. They have a guitar for him to use while he’s at school, but he really needs one at home to practice with. My husband has started looking online for good deals on guitars for sale. We really have no idea how to go about choosing a guitar and are hoping we don’t get ripped off. He has been watching for something decent to show up on eBay or craigslist as well.
