I think side tables are a very useful thing to have. I have an Eileen Gray table, which I love. You can adjust the height of the glass table top so it is very convenient. It is great to put the book I am reading on, or my dishes once I finish eating something if I don’t want to get up right away to put them in the sink or dishwasher. It also looks really nice, I have gotten a lot of compliments on it. I have another one that isn’t adjustable that I use to keep a lamp on.
