When my family and I moved from our house at Cleveland in 2008 to our Redland Bay home, it took a lot of time and money to complete the house remodel so that we could get the best financial results from the sale. We started very early but just chipped away at the jobs slowly until eventually we were only one month out from moving and still had a lot of work to do. Although everything worked out in the end, the thing to take away from the experience was that planning is crucial to the successful execution of a home remodel.
