I can’t believe that some people are willing to buy a cheap Skil power tool which uses batteries that are really expensive to replace. Take the Skil 2887 cordless drill for example. This kit includes two Skil 18v battery packs and a charger for $100 bucks. The replacement batteries will cost you about $40 dollars to replace, which you will have to do about every year. These batteries are so bad that they will start to fade after only a few uses. So for the 100 dollar drill you will spend and extra 80 dollars every year in order to keep it running at its best. Why would you want to do that if you can get a great lithium ion drill for 200 bucks that will last you ten times as long?
