Handmade jewelry is making a come back. For a long while it was considered to be too arts and crafts to be worn by anyone but poor moms who made it themselves. However, some people began to realize the beauty of artisan jewelry and before anyone knew what was happening we were seeing celebrities wearing handmade jewelry. Now it is unusual for someone to not have at least one artisan piece of jewelry in their collection, especially since they can be custom made to order and as such many people will have a piece made for them for a specific event or outfit. This has been a fine accomplishment for artisans everywhere.
