After a tiring day of a camping trip, when a campfire is lit you all feel so very relaxed and cozy. For every camper this is the best part of the day, sitting around the campfire, watching the twinkling stars above, and the sparkling flames of the fire rising above from the ground. But you all should keep in mind certain safety measure before lighting a campfire.

–Always make sure that there is not any restriction to fire in those areas. Ask any of the district office or municipal authority before lighting a campfire.

– Ignite the campfire simply with paper, matchsticks or candle. Don’t try to use charcoal, kerosene or petrol. It may cause sudden outburst which may even pose danger to your clothes and skins.

– Avoid bonfires, make a small fires cozy enough to make you feel warm and juvenile. You can even sit close to small fired and be safe and secure.

– Always keep first aid kit with you. Not just while you are attending campfire, rather you may need such first aid kit at any instant of your camping trip.
