Back in the 1600′s there was no such thing as custom jewelry. Basically the jewelers all made their pieces from gold and silver. Diamonds were not big at all back in the day, I guess thats why we did not have so many people getting mugged because there nothing that cool to steal like there is now. These days we have people rocking $10 000 chains no wonder everyone is on the prowl! I guess the best thing that we can do is just go and pray that no one mugs us, or we can have all of our jewelry insured.
