Are you a Canadian citizen? Voila…you have the privilege of sponsoring your fiancé for a Canadian citizenship. In such a case, your fiancé will be provided with Canadian fiancé visa. Let us look at some rules to obtain a Canadian Fiance Visa:a)    According to Section 2 of the Immigration law, “spouse” with respect to any person, means the party of the opposite sex to whom that person is joined in marriageb)    According to Section 4(3), “The family class does not include a spouse who entered into the marriage primarily for the purpose of gaining admission to Canada as a member of the family class and not with the intention of residing permanently with the other spouse.c)    Fiancé must satisfy the visa officer on the following conditions:a.    Convince the officer that they have the intention to reside in Canada permanently with the sponsorb.    Not engaged for the purpose of just gaining immigration of the family classc.    Once Canadian fiancé visa is admitted, they will marry within 90 daysd)    Marriage certificate should be submitted to the case processing center in Mississauga within180 days of marriagee)    Canadian citizen who is sponsoring the fiancé should meet the adequate income above the poverty level set by the government.f)    Submission of permanent residency application by the fiancé to the visa office.g)    Proof of documents indicating the validity of the relationship.Only if all the above conditions are satisfied, you fiancé will be issued a Canadian fiancé visa.
