Ever wanted a turtle? I sure have not, but my younger siblings go crazy over them. My little brother Austin just recently got himself a turtle, and he has been taking care of that thing like you would not believe. He named him Bob, which I suppose is a fitting name for a turtle. I would have personally shot for one of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ names: Michelangelo, Donatello, Leonardo, and Raphael. Now those guys were some real turtles.But honestly, why would my little brother want a turtle so bad? They are not the most interactive of pets, beyond sitting around sunning themselves. They are very similar to lizards, no real interaction. The idea of turtle care seems very boring to me. Give me a dog any day of the week! Now those guys are what pets should be! They love you unconditionally, are always happy, and have boundless energy. Turtles are aloof like cats, just hanging out on a rock.
