When you are training for any type of competitive sports, you have to train for all aspects of what makes a winning athlete. Therefore, when training an athlete, speed agility training is just as important. A runner can use all the proper techniques and practice the way they are supposed to practice. If they are not trained for speed, they won’t get any faster than they currently are. Football players, track and field runners, baseball players – all are helped by speed training. When they are quicker, they perform better. This is the same across the board for all athletes.
