I was having a terrible time, in that the amount of work I was needing to do to make sure that my stock levels were correct, not to mention that the customer billing in my store was being done properly, seemed to be growing day by day. When I told this to a friend, he had a simple solution, and told me that I should look at a restaurant inventory system as a way of helping me control my workload, both in terms of customer billing and stock control. I was desperate for a solution, so I took his advice, and I must say that it was some of the best advice I have ever been given, since by simply installing a point-of-sale system my business has now become to run much more smoothly. I am now looking at upgrading my point-of-sale system to help computerize more aspects of my business and save more time.
