After doing more than a little bit of research on home music recording software for home computers, I am seriously leaning towards the Cakewalk line of products. Their basic package available, the Music Creator 5 download, might just be the perfect starter kit for me. And for the low price of $35 it is even in my ‘musicians’ price range. I can plug my guitar, Roxanne, right into the sound card and go from there. It would be nice to eventually get my hands on the SONAR Home Studio 7 but unless Santa is real I’m gonna have to find 140 bucks in the couch cushions. Apparently their customer service is good, too.
