Microsoft has decided to extend warranties free of charge to cover a period running for three years from the date of purchase, following widespread complaints. The company will reimburse anyone who has paid for repairs to date. Microsoft originally promised compatibility with "the most popular Xbox titles," leading some to speculate that the list wouldn’t go much beyond the two Halo games. In fact, the full list of compatible games is more than 200 titles. Of course this does not effect full version xbox games donwloads that were downloaded using the internet. The warranty has only been extended for games that have been purchased in regular stores.
