As I have been searching for a hotel for our family holiday, I have found a lot of really nice, but really expensive hotels. Here in the states, it is possible to haggle with hotels to lower the prices especially if you will be staying for an extended period of time. Are discounted Devon hotels available if you plan on staying at least a week? I don’t want to sound like a rude American if this type of negotiation is not typical or is seen as inappropriate among European hotels, or perhaps even the classier hotels anywhere in the world.
