The island nation called Philippines is a very good place to look for wonderful brides.  It is an Asian country but the lifestyle and culture of the people is not bereft of Western influences.  Philippines is an island nation that has experienced more than 300 years of colonial rule and around 50 years of imperialism under the United States of America.  Plus the fact, of course, that the island nation is strategically located in the Asia Pacific.  Philippines is also known as the Pearl of the Orient Seas.  No other country in the world that can honestly say East Meets West without batting an eyelash.  It’s only the Philippines.  The name Philippines and its Spanish counterpart, Filipinas, are derived from the name of Phillip II, the King of Spain in the late 16th century.  Many Spaniards who came to the islands found their Asian brides and settled permanently in the country.The Filipinos in the more than 7,000 islands are hospitable and you may find lovely women seeking a man of their dreams there.  What sets out the country apart from the rest is the warmth, positive spirit and hospitality of its people.
