If anyone has ever seen any of the National Lampoon’s vacation movies, then you might get a chuckle when I tell you that my family’s most recent vacation seemed to resemble one of those movies. Or, you might grimace because you know that you’ve been there too. Basically, almost anything and everything went wrong. I started to think that we’d never make it back from our vacation. This is when I’m extremely happy that I spent the extra money on travel insurance. Because of this, we didn’t have to worry nearly as much. When all of our luggage was lost, we didn’t have to worry. When one of us ended up in the hospital, we didn’t have to worry quite so much. Needless to say, we’d recommend travel insurance to anyone and everyone taking a trip.
