A friend of mine was asking me random questions about my homeland of Holland while we were on the bus the other day. He thought that Holland was landlocked, which I told him was untrue. He also thought the country was only on the mainland, and I had to set him straight there as well. I explained that Holland has a few islands, and the biggest Dutch island is Texel. Texel is used primarily for sheep and sheep shearing, but a good deal of it is aimed at tourism. My friend was amazed, and we all had a hardy bit of knowledge enter our noggins.
