Unfortunately I can’t reveal who the particular pop star touring was, but a friend of mine was one of her managers and was going to stay on for a few extra days in my home town after the show. She had called me and asked if I could organize a vehicle for her so that she could get herself around town and also be able to come and visit me. I phoned the people at car rental new zealand and booked a car for her. I didn’t need to worry about a hotel as the tour accountants were happy to pay for the extra nights of accommodation.
